M-Lab Measure: Measure Your Internet Connection
M-Lab Measure is a free Chrome add-on developed by Measurement Lab that allows users to measure the performance and health of their Internet connection. With this app, you can easily track the performance of the Internet connections you use over time and conduct your own research on Internet connections worldwide.
The app offers several useful features. You can run a test on demand to get immediate results, or schedule tests to run regularly and monitor any changes in your connection's performance. The test results can be annotated to provide additional context, and you can also export all the test data in CSV format for further analysis.
M-Lab Measure uses the Network Diagnostic Tool (NDT), a sophisticated speed and diagnostic test developed and maintained by Internet2 and hosted by Measurement Lab. This test is suitable for both novice users and network researchers, providing accurate and detailed information about your Internet connection.
